Will I Need Extra Training To Get An Accreditation?
One of the questions we are asked most frequently at Quest is ‘Will I need extra training to get an accreditation?’.
In short: it depends. It depends on your current level of competency in terms of training and qualifications; some areas could be lacking, and others could be missing entirely.
It also depends on the category of accreditation you are applying for. Some categories may require your staff to be trained in such as asbestos awareness and working at height, whereas other categories won’t require these, but you could need proof of health and safety awareness, such as a CSCS cards for staff. When it comes to accreditations, there is no ‘one size fits all’
