Legislation Changes
There are no set periods at which Employment legislation changes, this can be at any time during the year.
We have seen a number of changes over the last 1 -2 years and as professional advisors we always ensure we keep our clients up to date with these changes through regular newletters, seminars and by updating any documents or procedures that they must adopt within their business.
Some of the changes recently have included:
- Agency Workers Directive
- Change in National Minimum Wage
- Equality Act 2010
- Paternity Leave increased benefits
Future changes include:
- Increase to Parental Leave (March 2012)
- Qualifying period for unfair dismissal increases (April 2012)
- Pensions Act (October 2012)
- Additional updates to Equality Act 2010
